Thank You for Visiting HARA Hiroshi | TANIKAWA Hiroko
As of today, Sunday, February 1, the concurrent solo exhibitions.HARA Hiroshi Exhibition | TANIKAWA Hiroko Exhibition(January 10 [Sat] – February 1 [Sun], 2026) have come to a close.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the many visitors who came to see the exhibitions during this period.

In HARA Hiroshi’s solo exhibition, Noise and Chaos, we presented works that further develop his distinctive technique using “fire and soot,” which he has pursued since 2015, as well as his latest works that mark a new phase from 2025 onward. By introducing color, these recent works explore the multilayered structure of “life (inochi)” through the expressive possibilities of paint.

In TANIKAWA Hiroko’s solo exhibition, Memories of Light Layers, we introduced her recent and new works, in which she has continued to evoke complex and spatially rich surfaces on the picture plane, guided by light, atmosphere, and the fluctuations of memory. The images generated through overlapping colors and the repetition of points, lines, and planes contain unpredictable transformations, offering viewers a quiet yet resonant visual experience.

During the artists’ presence at the gallery, the exhibition space expanded into a place of dialogue. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all who took part.
