Exhibition Announcement: NAGAOKA Kazumi + SUGIURA Mariko
Artland Gallery is pleased to present an exhibition of NAGAOKA Kazumi and SUGIURA Mariko from May 30 (Sat) to June 21 (Sun), 2026.

Through organic forms in terracotta, Nagaoka Kazumi quietly reveals layers of time and memory.
Sugiura Mariko reconstructs paper materials discarded in daily life, creating new value and landscapes.

Though differing in materials and methods, both artists’ practices resonate with one another, each encompassing notions of “time” and “regeneration,” and moving between reality and its periphery.
This exhibition presents recent works by both artists, offering a view into their current practices.

We warmly invite you to experience the exhibition.

Thank You for Visiting FUDEZUKA Toshihisa / WATANABE Kanako Two-Person Exhibition
As of today, Sunday, March 29, the two-person exhibition (March 7–29, 2026) has come to a close. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all who visited during the exhibition.

Fudezuka Toshihisa’s works embody crystallized language and a quiet tension within meticulously constructed print expressions. Refined through a process of subtraction, his compositions leave a profound space that gently guides the viewer inward.

WATANABE Kanako’s works create a poetic space filled with tension through soft gradations permeating washi paper and sharp, delicate lines that seem to cut through them. Within their gentle presence, one senses a clarity of perception and a serene, measured breath.

We sincerely hope to see their works resonate together again in the future.

We extend our sincere gratitude to all who visited the gallery.
