Mandalas at the beginning of the year.
Mandalas symbolize the world of enlightenment.
We discover the wonder of mystery in the small flowers that bloom by the side of the road, flowers that we had never noticed before.
Our ancestors taught us that the universe dwells in even a single leaf.
What we see in front of us in our daily lives is Brahman, the highest principle of the universe.
The sacredness of the universe is revealed in our daily life.
Japan is a country that originally believed in God. However, in 538 (552), Buddhism entered the country. At that time, the spirit of tolerance and the principle of hon-chi-suijaku made it acceptable to mix gods and Buddha, and esoteric Buddhism was systematically established by Saicho and Kukai in the Heian period (794-1185).
Consciousness and Unconsciousness, the Everyday and the Extraordinary, and Yuishiki ・・・・・.
Apart from difficult things, all plants, trees, and the land are fully Buddhas.
I hope to feel something in nature and reflect it in my works with a mind of spiritual bliss like the children's song "Chiisai aki mitsumita" (I found a small autumn).
