I have been creating mixed media works using acrylics, pastels, and pencils on Torinoko paper as supports. I have taken advantage of the water resistance and good color quality of acrylic paint, and have incorporated accidental blotches into my paintings by dissolving the paint into a thin layer and dropping it onto the paper.

I paints women in particular as motifs. My goal has been to depict the ephemeral, bewitching, and sadness of the female form in the form of blotches in an emotional way. Some of them are instantly recognizable as women, while others are neutral figures that I hope to depict in a way that speaks to the viewer's neutral emotions.

Therefore, in this work, I borrows the form of a human figure to express the universal emotional fluctuation that people feel today through the beauty of the blank space and the materiality of the collage. By using Kumohada linen paper as well as Torinoko paper for the support, I would like the viewer to imagine a world that is not depicted on the screen by capturing the beauty and blurred softness of the paper's white.
