1968 Graduated from Tokyo University of Agriculture, Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Landscape Architecture
1969 Completed the Ceramic Technician Training Program at Kyoto Municipal Industrial Research Institute
1970 Became an assistant to Kazuo Yagi
1975 First solo exhibition featuring black pottery objects

1980 Became a member of Sodeisha and a member of the Japan Craft Design Association
1984 Began producing Re-Creation works
1989 Awarded the Excellence Prize at the ’89 Yagi Kazuo Award Contemporary Ceramic Exhibition
