AOKI Noe – Biography

1958 Born in Tokyo; currently resides in Tokyo (as of 2006)
1981 Graduated from Musashino Art University, Department of Sculpture
1983 Completed Master’s Program in Sculpture at Musashino Art University Graduate School
1997 Received the 9th Ringa Art Encouragement Prize (Creative Division)
2000 Received the 50th New Artist Award from the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology
2003 Received the Excellence Award at the 33rd Teijiro Nakahara Prize
     Received the Shigeru Ueki Memorial Award at the 20th Commemorative Contemporary Japanese Sculpture Exhibition, Shimonoseki City Art Museum
